Australia's Future - what do small business owners think? We want to hear from you...
The Australian Government has released its much awaited discussion document on the future.
Called "The challenge of change" it comes at a time when the nation needs to have a discussion about not only how we fund the future, but how we build it. What will our tax system need to look like and what support will be required in an Australia that is aging? These are but two questions.
Here at EntreHub we will be making a submission to the Australian Government on behalf of our small business members, entrepreneurs and start-ups - and so, we want to hear from you about what you think are the most important things to consider.
Some of the potential topics you may want to relfect on are:
-
A fairer and more equitable tax system so as not disadvantage small business and start-ups; if so what do you think it should look like?
-
Greater access to capital and investment
-
Either more flexibility in the labour market or a potential reversion to older models; what is most important to you when hiring
-
What investment do we need to make when it comes to the skills of the future and, therefore, what our education system needs to be teaching in order for those skills to be market ready
-
What additional support can be provided to small business when it comes to the future in terms of export growth and offshore trade and investment
